‘Vallavan’ which had generated
a lot of pre-release hype did not live up
to the expectations and is proving to be
a box office disaster. This has absolutely
disappointed both its producer and director
who had vested all their hopes and aspirations
on this film.
Thenappan,
the producer of the film has invested
a lot of money in Vallavan, is shocked
to hear about its lukewarm response.
In the film industry, for a producer,
a performance of one film would have
a cascading effect on his next project.
Currently Thenappan is also involved
in producing the mega budget film
‘Naan Kadavul’ directed
by Bala. It is a known fact in Kollywood
that Bala takes a long time to complete
a film. This would further compound
the problems for Thenappan on the
financial front.
Having
realized this, Bala is on the look out
for a suitable producer who would fund
his mega project. It is alleged that his
assistants are working over time to prepare
the list of financiers. We would keep
