Clash of two colleges |

In film industry, if a film with a particular
genre clicks, it is bound to spark off a series
of movies on a similar trail. A few years
back, movie buffs were swamped with films
which discussed love at schools and colleges
extensively. One such film was Vaikasi Pirandachu
with Prashanth and Kaveri in the lead role
produced by Anbalaya Prabhakaran.

Subsequently after a couple of films the producer took
a sabbatical and has returned once again now to produce
a film titled Pazhaniappa Kalluri. This film is directed
by debutant Pavan from film institute and has a newcomer
by name Pradeep as hero who will be wooed by three heroines,
one of them being Akshara of Kalaba Kaadalan fame. The
hunt for other two heroines is on and will be finalized
soon.
Meanwhile we also have another film ‘Kalluri’
being directed by Balaji Sakthivel. For those of you who
are less informed, Kalluri is being produced by director
Shankar for his ‘S Pictures’. These two films
have raised a lot of expectation in the industry and if
they click at the box office, it is sure to bring in a
horde of movies based on love at the campus.
