Sivaji is in news from the day it was announced,
and when the d-day is nearing, the hype is
reaching dizzying heights. The lucky few who
have seen the special screening are just raving
about the outcome. Sivaji also got censored
recently with a clean U certificate but only
after few minor cuts. The scenes in question
include a naval close up of Shriya, a cleavage
close up, again of the heroine and the last
one - a double meaning dialogue rendered by
Vivek.

Even though these scenes were butchered, director Shankar
has an habit of taking few scenes twice with different
camera angles. So will Shankar add those scenes in the
final print? Will the censor board spring into action
again? Only time will tell.
