Selvaraghavan is back in Chennai after completing
his Telugu project with Venkatesh and Trisha.
While sharing his thoughts on cinema, the
director says, “I deliberately add a
dash of grey to my hero’s character
in my films as it is a normal thing in real
life. But at the same time, one should not
confuse cinema with real life.

Both belong to the diametrically opposite groove. The
moment one leaves the theatre, one should take leave off
the world of fantasy and get on with their life. This
is the solution to a lot of issues”.
On directorial practices, Selva says that it is always
better to keep the bound script ready before going on
the floors. He also adds that it is imperative to have
many sessions of rehearsals before finally going in front
of the camera which is a typical style of any Hollywood
movie. According to him such practices should be stringently
followed in our country too. On his future projects, the
director reveals that he would be taking 7 G Rainbow colony
to Hindi and in Tamil, would be directing Karthi and Sandhya
in ‘Idu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’.
