We told you that Big B Amitabh would
be in Munnar shooting for RGV’s
film. Well, he has reached Munnar
and started work on RGV’s Nishabd.
Amitabh is in full swing after recovering
from his illness. He reached Kochi
airport and took the 140 km road to
Munnar. About this fantastic journey,
he is reported to have said,”
I am happy to be back in Kerala after
a long time. This is my first visit
to Munnar and the drive was simply
exhilarating. The endless tea gardens
are simply breathtaking. |

”
Anto Joseph, the most sought after production
controller in Malaylam disclosed that Amitabh
would stay at the Kerala Tourism department’s
Tea County Resort for the 30-days schedule.
The entire film would be shot at the hill
station. Talented South Indian actress-activist
Revathy pairs up with Amitabh for the second
time.

Nishabd
is based on the timeless Russian novel,
Lolita which deals with the obsessive
love that an old man, played by Amitabh,
has for a woman much younger than
him. Newcomer Jia plays the young
girl who tries to ward off the old
man’s advances.
The sylvan surroundings of Munnar
have only recently caught the eye
of film makers. |

The
peaceful tourist destination saw Santosh Sivan
canning his English film only a couple of
months ago. With RGV, we are sure there is
going to be a beeline of film makers from
Bollywood reaping in the exotic destination
of Munnar. |
