It is election time and almost everyone
who is someone in Kodambakkam is campaigning
for some party or the other. Simbu’s
father T Rajender is out there for
the Congress candidate Royapuram Mano.
Simbu too accompanied him, to help
him draw the crowd. That meant that
Simbu was off the sets of Vallavan
for almost a week. This certainly
irked Producer Thaenappan. “Seven
days of shooting gone, imagine my
loss. How will I get Nayantara’s
date, leave alone paying for these
seven days?” fumed the guy.
