churned out with the songs of Sivaji. He was reported to have told the lyricist, "In my twenty five years of cinema life, I have not come across such revitalizing, mellifluous and enjoyable verses". Superstar was mentioning about 'sahana' and 'poombavai' numbers from his forthcoming film Sivaji. Needless to say, Vairamuthu was certainly motivated by these acclamations. The filming of the songs have also impressed the super star. The song of 'sahana' has been picturized on a 3 crore budget and poombavai was shot at two and a half crores.
