Love binds two nations

Rajni's Japanese fan had got married to a Tamilian after falling in love with him. The couple had met the superstar and sought his blessings yesterday. The bridegroom Poovendran from Pudukottai was teaching yoga to the bride Matsumoto Akiko when they in love.

Their love had been accepted by both the families and the couple got united in holy matrimony a couple of days back. As they both were ardent fans of Rajnikanth, they were desirous of meeting him and seeking his blessings. Comedian Vivek had informed the super star who met this couple in his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam.

While welcoming the couple, Rajni expressed his wishes and wanted to know if they would continue living in Tamil Nadu. Akiko stated that they are planning to earn in Hong Kong and construct an orphanage in Tamil Nadu. Super star presented them with a photograph of Raghavendra and in turn the couple gave him shirts from Japan and a DVD on yoga.
