The pivotal role played by dubbing artists in Tamil film industry cannot be underrated. to the heroines. For instance, actress Rohini had dubbed for Pachaikili Muthucharam, singer Chinmayee for Bhoomika in sillunnu oru kaadal and veteran Saritha had brought alive many performances with her characteristic honey laden voice for many heroines in numerous films.
Now the latest one to join this bandwagon is Kanika of 'five star' fame who has dubbed for Shriya in Sivaji. In the event of Kanika's voice being accepted by one and all, people may want her to continue for all of Shriya's films. As Sivaji is a mega bannered movie involving the top brass of the film industry like Rajnikanth, Shankar, A R Rahman, Kanika has accepted to dub for Shriya in this film. Whether she would continue to be the voice behind Shriya will have to be waited and watched or rather heard...
