As per Kollywood circles, the complete responsibility of audio of the film was handed over to A R Rahman. Hence in a situation like this, the industry is totally taken aback by the release of songs in the net.

Meanwhile an overseas fan has reportedly called lyricist Vairamuthu and has questioned him if he had written the lines "Poombaavai aambal aambal, punnagaiyo mavval mavval". The fan has alleged to have asked kavignar to clarify the meaning of these lines. It looks like the entire industry is shocked by this unauthorized entry of audio into online portals.
