Madras Entertainment Company's debut venture in production is the upcoming Machchakaaran directed by Thamizvaanan of Kalvanin kaadali fame. This film brings together Thiruttu Payale Jeevan and Idaya Thiruda Kamna in the lead role. According to the director the film
is a perfect amalgamation of glamour and homely elements in the perfect proportion. The USP of this film is that shooting is scheduled to be held in ten districts of Tamil Nadu. The first schedule was completed in sixteen days in Chennai. Two songs are planned to be filmed in Australia. Yuvanshankar Raja scores the music for Machchakaaran the composing of which will commence in Malaysia from April 2nd. Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction will be taken care of by Thamizvaanan and A Venkatesh will be the cinematographer.
