Black out, Jeeva & the good omen

The audio release event of Madurai Veeran was held in Chennai on March 18, 2007 at the Satyam theatre. During the function there was power blackout for some time and the hero of the film Ramesh was seen visibly upset over it. His brother, actor Jeeva was seen running and interacting with the maintenance people to manage the situation and bring back the power.

Later during his speech, director Jananathan mentioned that there was a power problem even during the audio release of Jeeva's film 'E' and the film later on went to become a hit. He wittingly asked Ramesh to consider current cut as a good omen.
In an industry where superstition plays a major role in every aspect of work, these small things do have a big impact. However, Ramesh was seen in a lighter mood by the end of the function, taking things in his stride.
