figured in a public exam question paper. In the higher secondary examination conducted in Kerala last week, the student community was in for a surprise by a specific question that appeared in the English paper which expected them to narrate in detail about the accident that Malayala mega star Mammootty was involved last year.
During November 2006, while proceeding for shooting to Moonaru for the film Palingu, Mammootty's car was involved in an accident with a lorry. Fortunately, the matinee idol escaped with few injuries. This incident has apparently earned the interest of people who set the question paper who must have opined that this could be used to test the knowledge of English among students. Needless to say, students were amused and interested to answer this question and reliable sources reveal that this was the question attempted by majority of pupils.
