Maddy's travel off the beaten track seems to be on a roll. After making splashes with his upcoming Evano Oruvan, Maddy has signed on the dotted line for yet another atypical movie. Earlier titled 'Nee Indri' and rechristened as 'Oru Naal Poduma', the movie is directed and co-starred by Prathap Pothen, and will narrate the incidents of a single day.

On getting Maddy signed for the project, Pothen reveals that the actor was bowled over by the script and nodded consent immediately after it was narrated to him. "He was impressed by the story and gave me dates without more ado", says Pothen.
Next came the heroine hunt. "We needed a girl who hails from a musical background with skills of dancing. During the process, we stumbled upon Rukmani who is from Bangalore. She underwent ballet and bharathnatiyam courses in the US," Pothen spills the beans about his heroine.
Shoots of Oru Naal Poduma are proposed to be held in Toronto - Canada. Touted to be a romantic musical journey, the movie will have hit trio Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy scoring. With Maddy playing the lead, nothing could get more romantic; agree?
