Paruthi Veeran's success has certainly uplifted the mood of its heroine Priya Mani. Though she began her Kollywood career with the legendary Bharati Raja in Kangalal Kaidu Sey, she was not lucky enough in getting the right kind of breaks. Much was expected from
Balu Mahendra's 'Adu oru Kanakkalam' which also proved to be a damp squib for this young girl. Subsequently she started concentrating on Telugu and Malayalam films.
Now, despite the positive response pouring in from all directions for Paruthi Veeran, Priya has not been successful in getting plum offers. It has been alleged that she is hesitant to act with debutants and in double heroine subject which might prove counterproductive for her career. Meanwhile she is expecting the release of some of her Tamil films like Ullam and Thotta.
Recently she met Cheeyan Vikram at the airport and was keen to receive his feedback on Paruthi Veeran. Vikram being a warm hearted person when it comes to appreciating others was reported to have lauded Priya Mani's performance in the film. He had also advised her to choose the right kind of films which will give her ample scope for performance. Needless to say, Ms. Mani's spirits soared to sky by Cheeyan's comments.
