We had fans in Tamilnadu building Temple for Kushboo. Now it's the turn of fans in Srilanka to follow the suite. They have built a temple for their dream girl Pooja who is ruling the roost in Sinhalese cine industry. Her recent Sinhalese movie "Anjalika" was a huge success that
prompted the fans to build a temple for her. Pooja made her debut in movies through "JayJay" where she paired opposite Madhavan.
The temple that was built for Pooja in Colombo was recently bombed by unknown miscreants and brought down. This has saddened the fans. "I knew they (fans) were building a temple because they had asked for my permission. But I told them not to go with the construction as it was insane to waste such efforts, time and money for an actor" said Pooja. "We had a similar situation here where temple was built for Kushboo madam and it had to be bulldozed. I was not happy in the first place when the temple was built and am not sad for it coming down" added the actress. She advised her fans to refrain from such acts and involve in social activities that would benefit the society.
