Quite often, venting out frustration
and disappointments in a public event
spells trouble and end up in exchange
of words. The Trailer release event
of Arya unintentionally became a stage
for one such occasion. Honchos of the
industry attended the recently held
event. Producer KRG chose to rage a
verbal war against the directors in

event wherein the directors' association head S.A.
Chandrasekhar was present. Over to KRG's speech:
"It was during good old days when producers were given due respect. Things have changed and only high profile producers are treated with dignity these days. No directors show any sort of respect to their producers. A hit movie in their pocket is enough to escalate their star status. Any Tom Dick and Harry can become a director now".
If KRG thought he emitted his anger, someone took offence of the same. Addressing the up and coming directors during the audio release event of Mayakannadi, veteran director Balumahendra advised them to show a deaf ear for those comments. Interestingly, the event was attended by the producer's council chief Rama Narayanan, and veteran directs Balachander, and Bharathiraja. Over to Balumahendra now:
"I do not believe that the present crop of directors is a group of not focused ones. Our president Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam delivered news papers to households while he was in Ramanathapuram. Superstar Rajinikanth was a bus conductor before his hard work lifted him to stardom. So I request our young directors not to bother about what others have to criticize. Just believe in yourself and your hard work will definitely help you scale greater heights".
Quite an advice that is. Other updates in this episode are awaited.
