Gauthami was the special guest in an event organized by the "Positive Women Network" on the occasion of women's day yesterday. Gauthami was addressing a gathering on HIV. "Two years ago, I was suffering from breast cancer and had to fight against all odds and now I am fully cured.
It is self confidence and braveness that is required at time of distress" said Gauthami. "Do not be afraid of HIV. It is not a disease that gets transmitted by a mere touch of hands. It is the inner strength within oneself that would keep them going. So live life without any fear. There would be times in everyone's life where he or she would go through a tough period, it is the resilience and never say die attitude that would bring success and victory" added the actress. It was a nice gesture from Gauthami trying to instill confidence and courage to those affected.
