Rajini - Kamal join hands to honor a veteran

When it comes to honoring thespians in the industry, Kodambakkam comes together leaving behind all the indifferences. To celebrate Balumahendra's 40th year in Tamil cinema, a film festival - focusing his movies - is being organized in Inox, Chennai.

Titled K to K symbolizing Balumahendra's movies (Kogila to Kanakkalam) the film festival will be held during the first week of April.
Kingpins of the industry including Rajinikanth, Kamal, and Maniratnam are expected to partake in the opening ceremony of the film festival. Besides, various star studded events are also planned to be conducted in the Nehru Stadium on the closing day of the week long festival.
Balumahendra is synonymous with his off the beaten track movies. His movies have been remade into various regional languages and won critical acclaim for his finesse his direction.
