personalities about the person on the show. The first episode began with a lively talk with Kamal Hassan. Popular and veteran directors like K Balachandar, Mani Ratnam and K S Ravikumar shared a few fascinating anecdotes about this talented actor.
When Kamal spoke, he narrated an interesting tale while he was working with Mani Ratnam. To bring authenticity to the character, he had even donned the garb of a hair dresser and had cut his hair. He added, "For the sake of cinema, I will do anything. If need be, I don't mind being a barber even".
When events related to Kamal's association with Balachandar was telecast, the latter recalled with profound nostalgia about a hair rising incident during the filming of Punnagai Mannan. Despite repeated pleas from the director against jumping from a cliff with a rope, Kamal hurt himself severely during the fall when the rope had given away. According to Kamal, this incident made him realize the intense affection that Balachander had for him. Meanwhile director Saran had announced that he would be working with Kamal after Dasavatharam but Kamal is yet to confirm this.
