Dasavatharam is most likely to be released by June 2007 only. This film with Kamal in ten different get ups has been in the news ever since its announcement. Though the film was initially slated for a summer 2007 release, it appears now that it may hit the screen only by June 2007.
A few scenes involving Mallika Sherawat and Asin are still pending. The call sheets of other artists involved in this film also will go on till May. Hence the film in all probability will be extended for a couple of months more than the scheduled date.
Meanwhile, it has been said in the industry circles that super star Rajinikanth will leave for Himalayas after Sivaji and be back after the release of Dasavatharam. He is said to be very eagerly waiting for the release of Kamal's magnum opus. An interesting trivia about Dasavatharam is a huge sum of 2.5 crores was exclusively spent on Kamal's make up alone.
