Ameer directed Paruthiveeran is not only doing good business in theatres but also there is a huge demand for the pirated CD of the movie. The pirated CDs that made its way to the markets well before the movie hit the theatres is easily available and reports suggest that there is a huge
demand for Paruthiveeran's CD after it was declared a hit in theatres. Recently, Karthi who made his debut in acting through Paruthiveeran went personally and bought a pirated CD of his movie. He went straight to the commissioner's office and made a formal complaint. The police commissioner Lathika Charan has promised Karthi of all help in curbing piracy. "Madam told me that they would take action against these groups" said the actor.
Paruthiveeran seems to be bundled with trouble right from the start. "It is sheer hardwork for two years and I did not commit any other movie just for Paruthiveeran" said Karthi in an exclusive interview to Behindwoods. Hope people understand the hardship that the technicians undergo and forgo Piracy. As put forth by a film technician "Piracy starts and stops only because of people". Recently we had a novel idea from Mozhi crew where they have decided to release the original DVD and VCD of the movie for affordable rates in association with a private company.
