There seems to be a buzz in the Rajini fans
associations. The fans are eagerly awaiting
the campaigning phase, as only last week, office
bearers of the some southern districts of the
state decided to support the AIADMK in the forthcoming
elections. Rajini had announced that he would
not support any party and he requested his fans
to cast their vote to any candidate whom they
felt was suitable. He also advised that neither
his name nor that of the association should
be used for political propaganda. Somewhat disappointed
with this statement, the fans clubs decided
to support the ADMK primarily to counter the
PMK supreme who did a venomous media campaign
against Rajini.
