Trisha: Top in Andhra, but not in Tamil. Why?
March 27, 2006

Prabhu Deva & Trisha

Trisha is the highest paid actress in the Telugu industry. Guess how much she is paid there? One crore. She is currently working in the Chiranjeevi starrer Stalin. She has completed the Prabhu Deva project Pournami and her item number in Bangaram. However, back in the Tamil field, her home turf, the diva charges only fifty lakhs per film? How so? It is not that she can’t ask for one crore but then quoting that high will put her career in jeopardy. There is Asin to take into account. What if Asin overtakes her?
