Who can not be moved by SPB’s voice? Right
from six-year old to sixty-year old croon his
songs. The songs from Chandramukhi have once
again placed this singer, S P Balasubramaniam,
on the top of the charts again. For SPB fans,
it is celebration. In association with a local
website, the fan groups are creating a huge
database of the master’s songs, about
35000 of them. The work is scheduled to be completed
this year end. His fans recently gathered at
Kothandapani Studio under the auspices of www.spbala.com
to mark the 40th year of his entry into playback
singing. SPB was honoured as the Chief Guest.
