A R Rahman is busy as usual, globetrotting, scoring music or doing music. When he gets time off, he visits his family and it is during this period that he is very happy and feels very proud. He has reasons to be. His daughters, Kathijha (11) and Rahima (8), have already entered the music field singing for the movie Mangal Pandey: The Rising. “Both are studying music from Ghulam Mustafa Khan’s son,” says Rahman proudly and adds that because there is no Hindusthani classical tutors in Chennai, they are studying under Khan Saab’s son.
