Bhoomika Chawla made her debut in Tamil in Rojakkoottam. Despite the good run, she did not land many roles and turned to Telugu where she found moderate success. As Bollywood came calling, she accepted films in Hindi as well. Most of the films like Salaam-e-ishq, Dil ne jise apna kaha were all multistarrers and she had a minor role almost unnoticed. She however refutes that her roles are irrelevant and claims that she has been continuously busy with Hindi films in which she has meaningful roles.
Now comes the news that she has been doing a role in a Jiilenu Oru Kadhal. Therefore, Bhoomika had declined a role in a Hindi film to be directed by Imtiaz Ali.
