If Sivakasi was touted as the big daddy of films
on Deepavali releases, director Perarasu’s
next film, Tirupathi is all set to be the cracker
on Tamil New Year’s day. The director is
quite excited about the project as he is giving
the finishing touches. Ajith continues with his
hunk like lean physique and Sadha is her dusky
self. A special highlight of the film would be
the songs, scored by Bharadwaj, and all except
one would be for the frontbenchers. The Tirupathi
vandha Tiruppam theeppori pola song has been lavishly
picturized with about 1200 dancers and showing
the traditional folk dances like Karagattam, Oyilattam,
Puliyattam etc.

One
melodious duet, Sollavum Mudiyamae, has been shot
abroad, while the rustic Keerai Vedhaippoemae
comes from Pollachi. Perarasu’s dialogues
pack a punch and Ajith has done the jaw-dropping
stunts without a double. So, wait for the Tamil
New year’s day and rush to watch Tirupathi. |
