We don’t know whether Surya’ s father
approves of the Surya-Jyothika pair but we surely
know that Surya has one godfather in this regard,
Director Gautham Menon. When asked why he always
brought Jyothika into his movies, the guy said:
“Thank you for asking this question. If
Surya were not there on this earth, you would
have cooked stories about me and Jyothika. Well,
the fact is Jyothika fits the character I have
in mind.”
