The legal battle lines are drawn. The rival camps
in the Producers’ Council will have to slug
it out in Court. The Madras High Court yesterday
ordered that the premises of the Council near
Anna Flyover in Chennai be sealed and the keys
handed over to the Court. While Thyagarajan, who
claimed that he had been illegally removed from
office and alleged that the opposite faction was
trying to create factionalism by offering bribes
and tampering with records, the other camp stoutly
refused the allegation. However, the premises
were put under lock and key in the custody of
the Court. |
