A Chandrasekharan may have settled with distributors
saying that they would compensate for the losses
by their next flick. The theatre owners are
up in arms now.
Yesterday,
the executive committee of the Tamilnadu Film
Exhibitors’ Association passed a resolution
that until the financial loss incurred by 140
theatre owners who suffered opening day losses
to the tune of Rs.3 lakhs, was compensated fully,
the owners would not screen any more films of
Vijay or those produced by his father, S.A.
Chandrasekara.
