A salesman to a hit director
March 01, 2006

Chithiram Paesudhedi
The movie Chithiram Paesudhedi may have started slow at the box-office but never mind that for it has started earning rave reviews and the song Vaalai Meenukkum is there on the top of the chart in every channel. The happiest man, of course, is Mishkin. The name may sound outlandish but he is a son of the soil and his real name is Raja. Inspired by a character in Dostoevsky’s novel Idiot, Raja assumed the name of Mishkin. Raja began in a humble way, working as a salesman at a florist and then at Landmark Bookshop. His life changed when he met Director Khadir at the bookshop. For Raja now, it is a greater vista ahead.
