Heroine hunt for Ameer begins

After proving his talent in direction, Director Ameer will shortly be joining the bandwagon of director turned actors. He is all geared up to don the grease paint in a film called Yogi to be directed by Subramaniam Siva who had given us films like Pori, Thiruda Thirudi etc. Initially, there were talks about remaking the Malayalam hit ‘Big B’ into Tamil.

But for reasons unknown, the project was dropped and a fresh story to suit Ameer has been finalized.

Plans are underway to begin photo shoot of the film but unfortunately the hunt for a suitable heroine has not yielded fruitful results till now and the crew is frantically scouting for a fresh face. It has been alleged that Mumbai and Kerala imports are seriously considered and due to the non-availability of heroine, the shooting of Yogi is postponed to July.
