Persuaded by Surya, Aamir Khan accepted the role on the
condition that the final 30-minute including the climax
should be changed to which the director also agreed.
Writing on the director, Aamir has said the young director
and his positive vibes is also one of the reasons for
him to take up the movie. On the heroine Asin, Khan
said her performance was superb in the original version
and as a consequence no other actress was even considered
for the role. Jiya Khan, playing the second heroine
role is also keeping up to the expectations he writes.
In all probability the movie may hit the screens during
May 2008. Some big names associated with the movie are
music director A.R. Rahman, lyricist Prasoon Joshi and
cinematographer Ravi K Chandran.
Throwing another surprise on the readers Aamir has
also written about his flight journey to Chennai during
which he met Rajini. He mentions in his blog that “Rajini
is a cool person and he loves him very much.”
