Dasavatharam is getting chiseled at a steady
phase and if sources are to be relied upon,
the movie is likely to be a Diwali Dhamaka.
In the film, role of Asin’s father is
being essayed by Shivkumar who happens to
be the son of veteran character artist S V
Sahasranamam who brought life to his roles
in films like Parasakthi and Policekaran Magal.

When Shivkumar was quizzed about Dasavatharam and his
role, he said that he dons the part of a Bhramin hailing
from Kumbakonam. Beyond this, the actor was not forthcoming
as he was following orders from Kamal haasan to keep his
lips sealed on any matter related to the film. Another
interesting piece of information about Dasavatharam is
that Rekha who was Kamal’s former co-star in Punnagai
Mannan will be featuring in the film in a significant
role. In fact, this is the third film that they will be
working together after the block buster Punnagai Mannan
and Guna.
