Rajini and Kamal - never to act together again |

The Tamil Film Producers’ Sangam and
Sivaji Productions joined hands to commemorate
the successful completion of 804th day of
Chandramukhi. Speaking at the Sadhanai Thiruvizha,
the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi,
praised Rajinikanth lavishly. A host of luminaries
from the film industry were present including
actors Kamal Haasan, Prabhu and Sridevi, apart
from Sivaji Ganesan’s wife Kamala, TN
CM’s wife Rajathi Ammal and the family
members of the superstar.

At the function Kamal said that Kollywood was always speculating
and wishing for a mega movie where both the actors (Rajini
and Kamal) would star. He said that since both of them
have diversified their interests and were looking for
roles that would suit their image it is almost impossible
for them, at this stage, to share the screen space. Ending
it on a comical note, he said that “only one producer
could hit the jackpot if both of us act in a movie together,
but if we continue to act in different movies two producers
can hit a jackpot.”
That’s generosity to the core!
