After the hit of Chithiram Pesudadi, it was expected that director Mishkin would be flooded with offers. But the director accepted to direct Ravi Krishna in Nandalala. However the project was dropped and it was reported in the media that he would be directing Simbu. Now as per the Kollywood grapevine,

Mishkin will be wielding the megaphone for Sathiya Sodanai where Naren will once again play the role of hero. Subsequently Mishkin will be teaming up with Vishal in his next project.
