Shakeela swaps role with Sivakasi Jayalakshmi |

Sivakasi Jayalakshmi was in the headlines
of all Tamil Nadu dailies some time back but
for the wrong reasons. Currently she is fighting
a legal battle in many cases against her.
As is customary in Kollywood circles to make
a film on such character or drag them also
to don the grease paint, Jayalakshmi was offered
a role in Anbalaya Prabhakaran’s Pazhaniappa
Kalluri where she was expected to play the
role of a tea stall owner.

| Though
initially hesitant to accept such offers, she eventually
agreed to play the role. However, it has been reported
now that the same role has been allotted to Shakeela,
the sex siren of Mollywood. When the matter was probed,
it was found out that Jayalakshmi was not too keen to
do a role which would attract negative publicity and hence
she requested for a more dignified character. Hence the
unit is working towards it and in all likelihood the lady
may play the role of a college professor in the film. |
