The frenzy and fever associated with the release
of Sivaji is reaching a crescendo with the
film ready to hit the screen on 15 th of this
month. Rajni's fans all over the world are
waiting eagerly to watch their icon on silver
screen after a gap of almost two years. While
the situation in Chennai appears to be under
control, the same cannot be said about Trichy
where trouble seems to be brewing between
two fan clubs of the super star.
In Trichy there are two fan clubs operating under Shakul
Hameed and Khaleel. With every new release of the super
star, these clubs will clash for the screening of the
first show for their respective clubs. There was even
a law and order situation during the release of Chandramukhi
and Padayappa. Police had to intervene to maintain peace.
The same situation is likely to surface once again with
the emergence of one more fan club from the Woraiyur area
under Karnan who has also demanded a special show for
his club too. Now the other two groups are protesting
against a special show for Karnan's group. This has given
way to trouble in the release of Sivaji in Trichy as there
are only two theatres that are allotted for the screening
of the film there.
Meanwhile Rajnikanth's fans in Thirupparan Kunram have
appealed to the Almighty for the success of Sivaji by
eating food directly from the sand (man soru) and also
by conducting various types of prayers for the film to
run for twenty five weeks and more.
