Having established himself firmly as director
in the Telugu film industry, Prabhu Deva is
basking in glory with the mega success of
Pokkiri in Kollywood. This multifaceted personality
is now foraying into Bollywood and is all
set to direct Salman Khan in the Hindi version
of Pokkiri.

Recently, amidst his tight schedule, Prabhu Deva met the
media after a very long time and answered a volley of
questions thrown at him. When a curious pressperson wanted
to know whether the actor in him is still raring to go
for another stint Prabhu Deva replied that he is not very
keen on acting though a good script and director will
definitely lure him back to don the greasepaint. Prabhu
Deva also made it clear that he would not act and direct
a movie.
Another question that was shot at him was whether he would
act in multi-starrer movies, as in Bollywood, the reply
was again affirmative but added quickly only if the film
had a good storyline.
Further, Prabhu Deva quelled all doubts by declaring openly
that he has no plans to direct superstar Rajnikanth or
Vijay in the near future.
When asked about his idea to float a production house
he said that after his present busy schedule - directing
Shankardada Zindabad and a Hindi movie with Salman Khan
– he would venture into production.
But the glaring reality came to fore when he agreed that
dancing was still close to his heart.
