There are some films that stay in our mind
for quite a while. A few films create a longtime
impact. But there is a genre of movies which
created a niche for itself. For sibling affection
it’s Pasamalar, for a village subject
it’s 16 vayathinile or if it’s
a college love story “Oru Thalai Ragam”
- just to name a few.

Producer Anbalaya Prabhakaran’s Pazhaniappa Kalluri
is also vying for a place in that category. And the ambitious
producer will leave no stone unturned to this end or so
it seems. According to sources in Kollywood, Pazhaniappa
Kalluri will be filmed in the famous AVC College Myladuthurai.
For those less informed, Oru Thalai Ragam, which went
on to be a mega hit, was filmed at the same campus. Will
the magic work this time around?
Pazhaniappa Kalluri is being directed by Pavan with Pradeep
in the lead role. Starring opposite Pradeep is Arjuman
Mohal, a new face from Kashmir.
