Pirates have captured the box office yet again.
After the stupendous success of its predecessor,
Pirates of the Caribbean the dead man’s
chest, At worlds end was anticipated with
bated breath and it didn’t disappoint.
The movie has taken the third best opening
for a foreign language movie in India with
8.3 crores of treasure looted in its first
weekend.

But the third chapter of this Pirates franchisee has grossed
more than what its predecessors have grossed. Its next
only to Spider man 3 and Casino Royale but has grossed
more than the webslinger’s second outing.
Commenting on this stupendous performance, Uday Singh,
CEO SPE Films India, said, “Jack Sparrow and the
Pirates have landed to a tumultuous reception at the box-office
captivating and enthralling Indian audiences. The word-of-mouth
is very positive across all language versions and hence
we are confident of the films continued success at the
box office”.
Even though audience have lapped up the movie, they are
quite unhappy that their hero Jack sparrow has been introduced
quite late in the movie. But the last 20 minutes with
unbelievable special effects have more than made up for
the rest. So it very well seems that the Pirates will
be sailing for a long time in the theatres. Hrrrrrrrrrrr.
