The drive to do things very differently and
stand out tall among contemporaries can well
be perceived in Kollywood where creativity
and imagination will be in its top form right
from the manner in which the invitation card
is designed. Recent examples are Muni and
Sakkarakatti. In Muni, the invitation itself
was in a talisman form which aroused a lot
of curiosity among the onlookers.

On the other hand, Sakkarakatti where Bhagyaraj's son
Shanthanu, is making an entry into Kollywood, a sugar
cube was attached to every invitation to symbolically
represent the title of the film.
Now for Bharath’s film Palani to be directed by
Perarasu, it is reported that every invitation is accompanied
by Panjamirdam, holy ash and Lord Muruga’s picture.
While talking about this novel concept director says,
“As the film’s tagline is commercial Panjamirdam,
we decided to hand out the invitation along with holy
ash, panjamirdam and Murugan’s photo”. Perarasu
also revealed that Palani is the name of the hero Bharath
in the film and the story is also set in Palani. A newcomer
by name Kaajal Agarwal will play the heroine role in the
film which is commencing on the 10th of this month.
