Well, we have heard this before, haven’t
we? But there is a charm in knowing that a
person was able to live a dream on screen.
Everyday, we see film stars living our dreams
on screen, bashing up the bad men, courting
the beautiful women and basically winning
everything in life. But this time, it is a
much more personal dream that has come true.

Meenakshi, the Karuppasamy Kuthagaithaarar girl was very
happy when she talked about her dream, sorry her mother’s
dream coming alive on screen.
Meenakshi’s mother always wanted her to be a doctor,
but hospitals, injections, medicines and blood gave Meenakshi
the creeps and being a doctor was the last thing that
she wanted to do. As fate had it Meenakshi landed up on
the silver screen rather than in a medical college. But
her mother was not to be totally disappointed as Meenakshi
was playing the role of a medical student in the movie.
Call it luck or destiny or anything that you may like,
but the fact is that the lead lady of Karuppasamy Kuthagaithaarar
had the best of both worlds. It is true that two and a
half hours on the big screen is by no means same as real
life. But a bit in reel life is better than none in real
life; you might agree.
More on Meenakshi, her favorite actress is Jyothika. ‘I
am a slave to her acting’, she says. Well, that
is the first time that we have heard such a claim, but
that is understandable, she must be really excited as
Karuppasamy Kuthagaithaarar is doing very well.
