Jeeva is in an upbeat mood these days and
he has all the reasons to be. His films have
been doing well and he has also been receiving
critical acclaim for his performances. In
addition to these, the actor is involved in
good projects under renowned banners.

But the recent announcement of Kalai Maamani awards from
the state government has certainly catapulted the young
actor to a higher level. It has been reported that he
is the youngest actor to receive this award.
Though being a recipient of Cyprus International Award
for best actor for his performance in Ram, Jeeva regards
Kalai Maamani award as a greater honor than any of his
previous accomplishments. When the news reached him while
he was shooting for Rameswaram, Jeeva threw in a big bash
to the film unit and celebrated his happiness. He later
got clothing for two hundred and fifty Sri Lankan refugees.
A good way to celebrate indeed…
