The
Tamil industry is known for fickle loyalties.
Many who have been the stepping-stones for
leading lights find themselves sidelined,
unsung and unheard. They however retain
a dignified silence and continue to persevere
in their craft. |

Director Vikraman is a sensitive
director who has given us many clean
and entertaining films. His portfolio
has family drama, romantic tales
and social themes. Nevertheless,
he has out of the spotlight for
quite some time now. The bearded
director is now back in action with
Chennai Kadhal.
On being quizzed about the hiatus,
he said that he had been waiting
for the right script as he felt
it was his responsibility to give
clean entertainment

|
He
greatly appreciated hero Bharath’s
talent and professionalism. Joshua Sridhar
has scored the music for the film and Vikraman
is happy with the outcome. |
|
When
asked whether he felt sad that none of the
heroes whom he had worked with did not give
him dates, he said that the industry is not
known for gratitude. It was not right on his
part to expect it. But he disclosed that in
whichever corner of the world he went to he
would always remain thankful to R.B. Chowdry,
who produced many of Vikraman’s films.
He would also pray that Ramesh and Jeeva,
Chowdry’s sons should come up well in
their careers. |
