The
Wrath of the Superstar – Fan club
members suffer |
June

|
We
had reported a while back about the strict
instructions the Superstar had issued about
using his name in the election campaigns.
Despite that, a few members of his Rasigar
Mandram actually extended their support
to the former Chief Minister Jayalaithaa
during the elections.
The Superstar kept quiet then, but now that
the elections are over and all the fervour
has died down, Rajnikanth is slowly making
his move. It was obvious that he was upset
that his fans violated his orders of denying
to support any political party, and now,
looks like his warnings were not given in
vain.

|
Many fan club office bearers, who
violated his instructions for money
and other benefits, are now facing
the wrath of the Superstar, as Sathyanarayana,
president of the All India Rajini
Fans Club is busy firing many office
bearers who were said to have indulged
in the campaigning. Most of the
members are taken aback by this
drastic measure, as they thought
that Rajni would actually not take
any action. They thought that he
was just issuing threats and did
not take his words seriously.
|
|
|
Now,
they are only sorry for it. Rajni's actions
have even surprised many political parties!
|
|
It
is said that Rajni wanted to make
a point that he meant business when
he announced his distance from anything
political, and that, he also wanted
to safeguard the interests of those
who obeyed his command and refrained
from extending support to any political
party. Rajni, like the humble persona
that he is, sought to deal with this
issue quietly, as he considers his
fan club akin to his family. Anyone
in his situation could have easily
used this situation to attract media
attention and make this a big deal.
But true to his demeanour, he dealt
with this smoothly and quietly. |
