They short-listed three heroines
for Vijay’s Pokkiri, the Tamil
remake of the Telugu hit by the
same name. Asin, Trisha and Ileana—one
of them will pair with Vijay.
Ileana, being the No1 heroine in
Telugu, demanded 50 lakhs for her
role. Asin quoted 40 while Trisha
said 30 was her rate. Even though
Prabhu Deva wanted Ileana in the
movie, the producer vetoed the proposal.
