Finally,
the moment arrives. Naan Kadavul, which
has been static for a long time, is finally
ready to hit the floors. First there was
the problem with actor Ajith's dates, and
then, young heartthrob Arya, came into the
picture. The controversy with director Saran
ensued, who claimed that Arya has to finish
his film first and then work with Bala.
It almost looked like Bala would again start
looking for another actor, but things have
finally settled, and the film is all set
to begin with Arya. |

|
Arya, who gave quite an impressive
performance in Pattiyal, is excited
about this venture, and who wouldn't
be? Bala, who is known to draw out
the best in an actor, is responsible
for Vikram and Surya's success as
well. Even today, both Vikram and
Surya would vouch for the intensity
involved in Bala's productions that
only enriches their learning and
makes the overall experience worth
its time.

Produced
by Thaenappan, music by maestro Ilayaraja,
Bhavana as the lead actress, and Kannada
actor Devaraj as the villain, Naan Kadavul
shows all the necessary signs of being a
quintessential Bala film. Dialogues have
been penned by popular novelist, Jayamohan,
while P Krishnamuthy handles the art direction. |
|
Sources
reveal that Krishnamurthy, renowned classical
singer and winner of the Kalaimamani award
this year, is also said to play a role in
the film.
August 15 is when the film is said to hit
the floors with most of the shooting in
Palani and Kasi, and Arya will complete
his present commitments like Auto and Vattaram,
before he devotes his time and energies
to Bala's film. |
