When it comes to cinema, being
“different” is
the unspoken edict. And director
Vikraman follows that with
absolute belief. After a two-year
hiatus, he is back with another
film, and is currently shooting
a song sequence in Singapore.
What is so different about
that you might ask? The fact
that for the first time, the
song that introduces the hero,
is being shot abroad. If we
retrospect a little, we will
see that usually filmmakers
prefer a foreign location
for songs that are romantic,
or a duet. And the hero-introduction
songs are generally shot in
specially designed sets.

But for director Vikraman, the norm
was never interesting. Along with
a 23-member crew, he has begun filming
the song sequence in Singapore, with
talks of moving to Malaysia from there.
With cinematographer Muthu Ganesan
and dance master Kalian and his 14-member
dance team, the song that is being
choreographed is called Enjoy Enjoy
with music by Joshya Sridhar. |
